Easter LEGO Travel Case - Lego Easter Bunny

This travel LEGO case is the perfect Easter gift for LEGO lovers who are on the go! It's also inexpensive and easy to make.  Add a LEGO bunny rabbit and you've got the perfect sugar free Easter treat.

You'll need a basic baby wipes case, which you can usually find in a store like Babies R Us for $2-$3 dollars.  You know, unless you have a baby and then of course you probably have 5 of these between your car trunk, the nursery, a handbag and wherever else you stuck one while operating on 4 hours of sleep.

This project also calls for a LEGO building plate.  You can easily make two wipes case inserts out of a standard LEGO plate which will run you about $5.  I just traced the wipes case against the LEGO plate and used a standard but fairly sharp pair of scissors to cut it. I added some rainbow colored washi tape to the lid because I had it, it was cute and I wanted to cover up the brand name on the top of the baby wipe case. Yeah, yeah, bloggers and washi tape.  I know.

Use a hot glue gun to glue in the LEGO plate and you're done.  5 minutes of less to make two of these. The LEGO Store stocks lots of seasonal/themed kits that are very inexpensive.  I grabbed this Easter bunny kit last year for about $6 and forgot about it until recently.

If this project looks familiar to you, it's because this is not the first time I've made one of these.  But the last one was such a hit I thought that a holiday version might be nice.  Happy Easter!
